At Capitol Collegiate, academic achievement is our top priority and we believe that results come first. Our rigorous literacy and math curriculum is common-core aligned and helps prepare 100% of our scholars to get to and through college. Families play a critical role in the success of Capitol Collegiate. We have a Family Resource Center, parenting classes, and results-driven focus groups. Our family leaders take part in the Student Achievement Council (SAC) and are active in planning programs, events, and fundraisers for the school community. Temperature Check Privacy:
To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 in and through the campus, and to protect our employees, students, and visitors, Capitol Collegiate Academy is implementing procedures for measuring the temperature of all individuals coming into school facilities and inquiring and observing whether any individual attempting to enter the school facility has had symptoms of COVID-19. Any individual whose temperature is measured to indicate a fever, who reports having or is observed to have any symptoms, or who has recently been in contact with symptomatic individuals will not be permitted to enter the school.

Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), we are notifying you that we are collecting the following category of Personal Information: Medical & Health Information. specifically your body temperature and whether you display certain symptoms such as fatigue, cough, sneezing, aches and pains, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, diarrhea, headaches, shortness of breath, and/or whether you have been in close contact with anyone who has exhibited any of these symptoms, and whether you have recently been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Capitol Collegiate Academy will maintain this information under conditions of confidentiality. We are collecting this information for purposes of reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 in and throughout the facility and protecting our employees, students, and visitors.
