Student Achievement Council (SAC)
The Student Achievement Council (SAC) is a committed action-oriented group of CCA families with a focus on strengthening the school program through school events, fundraisers, community outreach, and other initiatives. The focus is student achievement. SAC is open to any parent, guardian, or adult family member who wants to work collaboratively with other parents and school staff to support student achievement. SAC projects include Picture Day, the Canned Food Drive, the Book Fair, an annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, and Field Day.
SAC meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month. There is a morning meeting (7:30 am) and an evening meeting (5:00 pm) each month. Both meetings cover the same information but offer flexibility for families who have different work schedules. Spanish translation services are available at the morning meetings.
SAC members who are interested in a leadership opportunity are encouraged to join a committee.
SAC Committees include:
Box Top Committee
Field Day Committee
Career Day Committee
Community Service Committee
Book Fair Committee
